We got a phone call from our case worker at CWA this morning. All of the major parties involved gave approval in court. We were so close...except for one small issue. There was a clerical error on the piece of paper that documents the baby's "history" (status of parents, how he came to be at the orphanage, etc.). The judge deemed it important enough to be necessary and adjourned court until tomorrow after the mistake is fixed. There are no guarantees, but all involved are praying that this will be resolved...and he will be ours...by tomorrow.
Frustrating...but we are feeling hopeful.
